We'll have another speaker set to support those 4-speaker output sound cards. Supposedly has a center channel simulation to complete the 5.1 configuration.

Interesting Features

DCU (Digital Control Unit) to put on top or beside the monitor (with volume controls, IR remote receiver, headphone output, etc.)
ONE button control concept!
Infra Red Remote Control (cool!)
6-channel Inputs (Guess this is cool for DVD players too) - The feature I'll probably use the most would be to connect 4 channels from my 4-speaker sound card and simulate the center channel...

Other stuff:

Supports 2-channel, 4-channel and 5.1-channel Analog Inputs
Outputs discrete 2, 4 or 5.1-channel audio output with any 2, 4 or 5.1-channel input sources
Outputs 2 or 4-channel 3D positional audio effects with any 3D interactive sound modules
AMS Movie Surround Processing for 2-to-5.1 channel surround sound output
AMS Simulated Center Processing for 4-to-5.1 channel surround sound output
Pre-set Environmental Effects such as Jazz, Game and Rock for compelling audio output
Memory storage for user-defined Environmental Settings
Independent programmable volume and mute control for individual channel – Subwoofer, Center, Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left and Rear Right
Magnetically shielded speakers for flexible positioning and placement
Digital Control Unit for ease of access and operations
IR Remote Controller for Home Entertainment Experience
Ideal Speaker System for 3D Interactive Sound Cards
Ideal Speaker System for A/V equipment such as DVD/LD/VCD Players, Hi-fi Set and Portable Audio Players!

Technical specs (only the important ones..)

23Wrms active Subwoofer
7Wrms satellite speakers x 5pcs

I guess this should be enough to blast me out of my room.

First Tests

I like this baby the best with DVD ! U know, those players with 6-channel outputs. Just get some RCA to stereo jack connectors and plug them in; and experience some brain thumping action! (Terminator 2 has some awesome sounds man!).

The next best thing is of course direct 4-channel input from my (no brand mentioned here) 4-speaker sound card. NO WAY 2-speakers are better than 4 !  Let alone 5.1 ! U gotta try it to believe it. Half-Life is way awesome! And some Mpeg1 playback will improve with the 2-5.1 mode (It's like the Pro-Logic thing you find on AV receivers)

And of course u can keep the controller on top or below the monitor should u need to quickly adjust the volume. Other settings via this DCU is a bit tricky and needs some 'training' on your part. I'd stick to the handy remote (yeah, even when I'm sitting next to the receiver).

Well...I hope to permanently keep these babies.
